Where you will train

You will spend a minimum of 24 weeks on school placements. This time is spread across at least 2 schools.

Our 6 Stafford Hub Schools are:

  Westway, Stafford, Staffordshire, ST17 9YJ

• Sir Graham Balfour High School
  North Avenue, Stafford, Staffordshire, ST16 1NR

• The Hart School
  Penkridge Bank Road, Rugeley, Staffordshire, WS15 2UE

• The Weston Road Academy
  Blackheath Lane, Stafford, Staffordshire, ST18 0YG

• Walton High School
  The Rise, Walton-on-the-Hill, Stafford, Staffordshire, ST17 0LJ

As part of our bespoke training programme, you will also receive training and visit all of our Stafford Hub schools.

You will also spend time at the University of Staffordshire to study. This will include completing 20 Intensive Training and Practice (ITaP) days. These focus on key foundational areas of learning and are designed to further strengthen your classroom practice.

You will spend approximately 40 days studying on campus at the University of Staffordshire. This includes a three-week induction designed to prepare you for your first school placement, along with sessions to develop your curriculum knowledge.
