Parent Information
We look forward to welcoming your child to The Weston Road Academy next September. You will receive confirmation of your school place in April and our welcome pack will follow shortly after.
Our welcome pack contains lots of useful information for parents/carers to facilitate your child's transition to high school and ensure that this goes as smoothly as possible.
Here at The Weston Road Academy we believe that communication is key and we work closely with parents/carers to help your child reach their full potential.
We have a number of ways of keeping you informed about your child and their progress through high school.
SIMS Parent APP
Engaging with your children's education is key to their success. The information that you receive through the app will help you to stay up-to-date with your child’s school life, as well as support your child’s development and progress.
Once your child starts school with us we will send you an activation email, simply click on the link from your tablet, PC or smartphone to activate your account.
Parent Pay
The Weston Road Academy is a cashless school. ParentPay is now the only way to pay for school meals and educational visits etc. Your Parent Pay account will enable you to transfer money on the account for education visits or for your child to spend on food at school with the ability to view and monitor their spending activity.
How do I access this?
A letter will be sent to you with details on how to register for an account and with the appropriate codes. . (Unless you already have an account at your child's current school in which case you can transfer the details before September)
